How to Install lazarus-ide software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

lazarus-ide software package provides IDE for Free Pascal - Common IDE files metapackage, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lazarus-ide

lazarus-ide is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lazarus-ide package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lazarus-ide *
